emily is in town so i saw her and sen after work. i missed her so much. the last time i saw her was when i went to new york a couple of years ago. emily gave me a birthday gift and it is so perfect. a virgo unicorno! after we parted i read the note she wrote me and it was very sweet. she has always written the sweetest things to me and i cherish every letter and card that i have received from her. tried a new boba place and the tapioca was fresh so i will likely go back the next time i'm out there. they had creme brulee toast and i liked that a lot too bc i basically enjoy any excuse to eat custard. we went to daiso and i got cute origami papers and some stands for my bookshelves. went to mitsuwa and i probably spent too much on gashapon but they had hamtaro and sgt keroro so um it couldnt be helped. we had bbq chicken for dinner and grabbed some pastries from paris baguette. im happy we all had a girly day out. i really need to plan a visit to her again. sad i forgot to take a photo of us but i promise we all looked cute.
update: emily has informed me that there was a cat shaped self defense weapon with my gifts to help keep me safe on my adventures. not over how thoughtful she is ;~;
took myself on date today! it's been a while! a little over a decade ago i started taking myself out to watch anime movies alone. initially it was so that i could be more immersed emotionally. i was just really opposed to the idea of other people seeing me cry. anyway i haven't been in a long time because for the most part it has been the same studio ghibli and satoshi kon films over and over again and i don't need to see them that many times lol. went to rodeo goat and had a yummy burger and drinks, played some pikmin bloom, and watched the chainsaw man movie. i do think going with someone else would have dampened the emotions of the experience.
plum came to visit for the weekend~ i missed him lots. i think it's been over a year since i last saw him which is far too long.
on friday me, plum, and sen eternally had a 20 minute eta to my sister’s house but we somehow escaped the time loop. we had dinner at a japanese restaurant and allen met us at the claw arcade. i'm just so happy i got to see everyone. on saturday we went out for brunch and went thrifting. amanda came to sleep over at my sister's. i havent seen her in forever either. i missed her a lot. i did halloween tarot readings for plum and amanda and i enjoyed it a lot. i kept getting repeating answers when i asked for clarifiers which is always funny but it also just reaffirms my belief in magic. we watched anastasia but it was annoying to find initially. we ended up on some sus smart tv app and we were dying bc it played bootleg anastasia (it was the goldenfilms one lmao) i dont think ive watched that movie since i was a child probably. it brought back some memories of a sand art kit i had lol. such a good weekend. i really love my friend family very much.
saw deerhoof with sen and her bf. i think they might be my most scrobbled artist this year? i'm not sure. i listened to them a lot while i was playing fallout new vegas bc i made a playlist full of music that i thought my character would like and she really loves deerhoof and modest mouse lol. they didn't have any of the cds that i wanted but i did get a cute t-shirt!

there was a vending machine outside with tarot cards so of course i bought them. reading them as past present future. i've gotten the stupid ass 7 of swords for the past few months and i am glad that nonsense is behind me.

went with allen and sen to a bar to karaoke. got super lightheaded and ended up passing out because teehee guess my anemia is back. this explains why i've been taking so many naps and why my lips are cracking so badly even though it isn't cold yet. ugh this is a nightmare but at least i know what is happening this time around. i didn't even get to sing ._.
