sen picked me up after work and we went to see frankenstein! i was really wanting to watch it and was hoping they would put it in theaters again. idk i just rly prefer going to the theater for things that i have a feeling i will actually like. still thinking about how hot victor is even tho he is awful. sigh.

before the movie we grabbed dinner at a souffle restaurant. it was a rly cute place and surprisingly pretty crowded. started with the marshmallow soup(it is cheese, not actually marshmallows ok) for the novelty but it was actually amazing. i also got a lobster souffle and it was so fucking good but obviously really hot and i was in such a hurry to eat bc i didn't wanna miss the movie lol.

went to my sister's for new years and i'm so happy i got to spend it with so many of my friends. i was supposed to stay over the day before to help cook lumpia but i was still recovering from being sick. i was still kinda icky so i wasn't as hungry as i would usually be and that made me sad bc my sister prepared so much and kayla brought couscous ._.

my sister and i exchanged christmas gifts bc she was sick on christmas lmao. she got me the tarot of the divine deck and i love it lots. it has a multicultural folklore and deity deck so i know i'm going to have fun reading up on things as i pull cards. she also got me a braum's tumbler and a bing bong plushie hehe. i also exchanged gifts with skye and she got me an alice in wonderland tarot deck! i felt very seen and loved.

umm at some point glass shattered. my sister and i had a power rangers poster in that frame since we were small children. it was very silly watching the responsible adults clean everything up lol. obviously i took it as some sort of sign, but i mean the energy was pleasantly strong all day so of course i did.

i think the funniest thing is that everyone was so ready to leave right after midnight. i mean i wake up at like 5:30 for work so i am on old lady hours.
